A cross-specialist AKD team has advised leasing company Axus Nederland N.V., also acting under the names Ayvens and Volvo Car Lease, on a definitive agreement with Volvo Car Netherlands about the flexible car subscription ‘Care by Volvo’.

‘Care by Volvo’ is a flexible car subscription that offers full-service leasing to individuals for Volvo’s wide range of cars. In the collaboration, Ayvens is to take over the ‘Care by Volvo’ fleet, including the ownership and operational management, while Volvo remains responsible for sales and marketing.

Ayvens is a trusted partner of Volvo Car Netherlands with years of experience in leasing and subscription products. Since 2011 they have been working together in a strategic collaboration and offer white label leasing services under the ‘Volvo Car Lease’ brand, making the addition of ‘Care by Volvo’ a logical next step. The ACM has cleared the transaction.

The AKD deal team was led by Lennart Crain, and further consisted of Claudine Maeijer and Coosje van Wijck (Corporate M&A), Renée Schipper, Sophie Hendriks and Bram Woltering (IT and IP), Philippine Beerman, Harmke Brouwer and Maaike Lustenhouwer (Transport & Trade), and Ludo Luijks, Maarten Prevoo and Maud Plattel (Tax).
